The Certified Nursing Assistant program is a one semester program which prepares the participant for California State Certification. Certified Nursing Assistants provide care to patients in acute and skilled nursing settings. College of the Redwoods is a testing site for the Certified Nursing Assistant Training and Assessment Program (NATAP). To become a Certified Nursing Assistant you must successfully complete the NATAP Exam.
The next session of Certified Nursing Assistant (HO-110, Basic Patient Care) is a summer session and will begin May 28th. The class is 6 units and will be held on the Eureka Campus and Del Norte.
You must first apply to College of the Redwoods here https://www.redwoods.edu/admissions/Apply .
Once you receive confirmation that your application has been accepted, you may register for the class through Webadvisor. Del Norte class is HO-110 D8407 and Eureka is HO-110 E7507.
