Ashley Quigley
Ashley Quigley is entering her first year as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at College of the Redwoods.
Born and raised in Humboldt County, Ashley graduated from Arcata High School in 2017. She was a four-year Varsity player and a three-year starter as a guard. During her time as an Arcata Tiger, she helped her team win four consecutive Big 5 conference championships as well as four straight Dick Niclai tournament championships. The Tigers also made their deepest playoff run during Ashley’s freshman year by reaching the Nor-Cal Finals. Quigley was named to the All-County team in her last three years as a Tiger including being named Co-League MVP and Times Standard MVP her senior season.
After High School Ashley took two years off school before attending College of the Redwoods where she played two seasons. Her freshman year she helped the Corsairs win their first conference championship in 40 years. Throughout her time at College of the Redwoods she was named to the All-Freshman team her first year, led the Golden Valley Conference in 3-point shooting percentage her sophomore season and both years was a part of the First Team All-Conference and the 3rd Team All-State. Ashley graduated from CR in 2022 with three associate degrees.
Quigley then continued her basketball playing career at Arizona Christian University before transferring to Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts where she helped her team compete for a conference title and was named to the NECC All-Championship team.
Ashley is currently attending Grand Canyon University and is studying online to receive her bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in entrepreneurship.
