Brandon Benvenuti

Brandon Benvenuti begins his first season as the Head Men’s and Women’s Wrestling Coach for College of the Redwoods in 2023.  

Benvenuti came to College of the Redwoods after serving as the Assistant Coach at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky for the past two seasons. He also had coaching stints at Grand View University and University of Central Missouri, NAIA, and NCAA II programs, respectively. 

Benvenuti had a storied career on the mat as a wrestler at Grand View, Lindenwood (Mo.) and Sierra (Calif.) earning All-American status four times. He placed at the NAIA National Championships twice, taking fourth and sixth. He also placed 2nd and 4th at the CCCAA state championships while competing at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif. 

The Sacramento, Calif. native earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grand View University and more recently completed his master's degree in Kinesiology at the University of Central Missouri.
